Google Sign-In and account information

DocHub uses Google Sign-In so you can access your vault with your Google account. When you sign in, we receive basic account information from Google, which may include:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your Google profile picture
• A unique Google account identifier

We use this information to create and recognize your DocHub account, keep you signed in, and respond when you contact us about that account.

Documents and files

DocHub helps you view and manage documents you choose to keep in your vault, including supported formats such as PDFs and images. Depending on how you use DocHub, this can include:

• Files you create, open, upload, or organize in DocHub
• File names, types, and other details needed to display and organize those files
• The contents of those files, so you can view and manage them

We use document information only to provide DocHub’s document features to you.

Google Drive integration

DocHub can connect to Google Drive so you can manage files through the app. The connection is made with your Google account after you sign in and grant permission. DocHub uses Google Drive to open, create, and manage the files you use with DocHub. Your other Google Drive files stay in your Google account and are not opened by DocHub unless you use them with the app.

Google Drive drive.file permission

DocHub requests the Google Drive permission known as drive.file (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file).

This permission lets DocHub see, edit, create, and delete only the specific Google Drive files you use with DocHub — for example, files you open with DocHub or files DocHub creates for you. It does not give DocHub access to every file in your Google Drive.

We request this permission so DocHub can provide document management for the files you choose. We do not use it to browse, copy, or analyze the rest of your Drive.

How information is used

We use the information described in this policy to:

• Sign you in and maintain your DocHub account
• Organize, display, and manage the documents you use with DocHub
• Connect to Google Drive for the files you use with the app
• Provide support when you contact us
• Protect the security and integrity of DocHub
• Comply with applicable law

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Google User Data

DocHub’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is used only to provide and maintain DocHub’s user-facing features, such as sign-in and document management. We do not use Google user data to serve advertisements. We do not sell Google user data. We do not allow humans to read your Google user data except when you ask us to (for example, when you contact support), when it is necessary for security, when the law requires it, or when the data is aggregated for internal operations and does not identify you.

Data sharing

We do not share your personal information or Google user data with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only in these cases:

• With Google, when you use Google Sign-In and Google Drive, under Google’s terms and privacy policy
• With service providers who process data strictly on our behalf to operate DocHub, and only as needed to provide that service
• When we are required to disclose information by law, regulation, or a valid legal process
• To protect the rights, safety, and security of iNOTRO, our users, or the public

Data storage and security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we handle, including access controls and encrypted connections where they are supported. Account information used to operate DocHub is stored only as needed to provide the service. Files you manage through Google Drive remain in your Google Drive account, subject to Google’s storage and security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Data retention

We keep account information for as long as your DocHub account is active and as needed to provide the app. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize the personal information we hold, unless we must keep it longer to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or enforce our agreements. We complete deletion requests within 30 days, except where the law requires a longer period. Files stored in your Google Drive are controlled by you. They are not removed from Drive unless you delete them, or you ask us to remove files that DocHub created.

Account and data deletion

You can ask us to delete your DocHub account and the personal information we hold about you. Visit the Account & Data Deletion page, or email info@inotro.co.in with the subject “DocHub account deletion” from the Google email address on the account.

We will delete your DocHub account information and related personal data from our systems. Files that remain in your Google Drive stay there until you delete them in Google Drive. You can also revoke DocHub’s access at any time from your Google Account permissions.

Children’s privacy

DocHub is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party services

DocHub relies on third-party services to operate, including:

• Google Sign-In, for authentication
• Google Drive and Google APIs, for the files you use with DocHub

Those services process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Google’s privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy. This website may also use essential cookies and, only after you accept them, analytics cookies such as Google Analytics with anonymized IP addresses. You can withdraw analytics consent by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

This website

When you use this website, we collect the contact details you submit through our forms, such as your name, email, phone, message, and project details. We use that information to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell it. Limited technical data, such as device and browser information and anonymized usage analytics, is collected only where you have consented to analytics cookies.

Privacy Policy changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. The updated policy applies when it is posted. Please review this page periodically.
